WHERE THE PRESIDENT STANDS – AT 11:32 A.M. ET: Mr. Trump seems to be stuck in a polling rut. About 46% in Rasmussen for the last week or so. We'll see if that changes by Monday, following the good economic news of this week, but right now the president, having engaged in some serious verbal blunders, is facing a few headwinds. From Rasmussen:
COMMENT: The anti-Trump faction appears rock solid, at least at this point. Here is a president who may be the most creative and effective we've had since Reagan, but, unlike Reagan, is self-destructive. We can have an unlikely triumph in the making, if Trump can discipline himself, but we can see a tragedy instead. July 26, 2018 |
